Part-I

  • A software built primarily for retail traders & sub-brokers to automate their trading related tasks
    • Automated Trading via (AmiBroker, MetaTrader, Excel or Any Custom Trading Application)
    • Placing orders in bulk (single/multiple clients)
    • Retrieving live market data (price, volume, open interest etc.) & portfolio details like (orders, positions, margin etc.)

Part-II

  • A broker independent automated trading API, similar to the APIs provided by stock brokers
  • Makes your trading setup completely broker independent
  • You can switch to trading platform of different broker with a single setting change
  • No need to purchase APIs from brokers
  • Useful for users having programming knowledge
  • Can be used from AmiBroker, MetaTrader, Excel or any custom trading application
  • Many users find it more stable than Broker’s APIs

Part-III

  • Middleman between your analysis software & trading terminal
  • AutoTrader provides you live market data (price, volume, open interest) & live portfolio snapshot (orders, margin/funds, positions)
  • Analysis software can use these details & your trading logic (strategy) to come with various actions like (place/modify/cancel order, square-off position etc.)
  • Analysis software just need to send these actions to AutoTrader & it will execute them

I have around 15 years of experience developing Financial Software. I took a break from my career to start my own algorithmic trading setup. This new journey started well and along with my own proprietary trading systems, I also started building automation systems for retail traders, fund managers and HNIs. I was employed with firms like Morgan Stanley, HSBC & SunGard. I work on various technologies, but my strengths are building server side cloud based algorithmic trading systems built primarily using Java programming language. Apart from all of this, I am a big fan of Formula 1 racing :-)

      We do trade but those are our proprietary systems, not for public. We are not into finance as such & most of our trading is driven by data analysis. We do have very strong knowledge of technology and trading systems. However any experienced person can tell you that knowing how the market works is not sufficient to make money; for that you need to be able to predict the price movements.
