In short — We collect only what we need to run the service for you. We use your broker account details only to act on your instructions. We never sell your data or share it for other companies’ advertising. Our website uses no tracking and no cookies. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing help@stocksdeveloper.in.

This Privacy Policy explains how Stocks Developer (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles your personal data when you use our website and our software, AutoTrader Web (the “Service”). We are a tools-only platform. We provide software; we do not give trading advice, and the software does not trade on its own. Every action is set up and started by you.

What information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, email address and mobile number when you register.
  • Trading account details: the broker login or API details you add so the software can connect to your broker accounts and act on your instructions. You add these yourself, and you can change or remove them at any time. When you delete a broker account from our system, its API credentials are deleted immediately.
  • Payments: when you pay or recharge, the payment is made through UPI using a secure payment service. We keep a record of the transaction (such as the amount, date and a reference number).
  • Support messages: the emails, WhatsApp messages and support-assistant chats you send us. Chat conversations are saved so we can answer better and improve our support.

Information created as you use the Service

  • Activity and usage: the actions you take in the software (for example placing or changing an order, or changing a setting), kept as logs with the time and the result, so you and we can see what the system did on your behalf.
  • Technical information needed to run the Service securely and to keep it reliable.

Our website

Our website does not use Google Analytics or any other tracking tool, sets no cookies, and does not collect personal data on its own. If you use the chat assistant on the website, your typed messages are sent to our support service and saved to improve answers. You do not need to log in or share personal details to use it.

How we use your information

  • To provide and run the Service, and to connect to your broker accounts on your instruction.
  • To give you support and reply to your questions.
  • To keep the Service secure and prevent misuse or fraud.
  • To fix problems and improve the product.
  • To meet legal and tax requirements.

We do not use your data to trade on our own, and we do not give advice, recommendations or tips.

How we share your information

We share your data only where it is needed to run the Service, and only as described here:

  • Your brokers: to place and manage orders or read your account, the software connects to the broker accounts you have added, using the API details you provided.
  • Legal reasons: if the law, a court, or a government authority validly requires it.

We never sell or rent your personal data, and we never share it for other companies’ advertising or marketing.

How we protect your data

We store your data on secure servers located in India. We limit who can access it, protect sensitive details such as your broker credentials, and use industry-standard measures to keep your data safe. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After you close your account, we delete most of your personal data within a reasonable time. We keep only the records we are required by law to retain (for example billing and tax records) for the period the law requires, and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • See the personal data we hold about you,
  • Correct anything that is wrong,
  • Delete your data (where we are not required to keep it), and
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it.

You also control your broker account details directly inside the software, and the activity log in your account lets you review what the system did on your behalf. To make any of these requests, email us at help@stocksdeveloper.in. We will respond as required by law.

Children

The Service is meant for adults (18 years and older). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date below shows when it last changed. If we make an important change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
