Stocks Developer is an Indian software company. We build tools that let traders watch and manage all their broker accounts from a single screen. We give software only. We do not give advice or tips, and we make no trading decisions for you. You set up and control every activity.

What we do

We make it simple to run many broker accounts at once. With our software you see live profit and loss, holdings, positions and orders from every connected account on one screen, then act on one account or many at the same time.

Our main product is AutoTrader Web. It brings together live monitoring, order replication across your accounts, bulk orders, GTT orders, chart-based alerts, and APIs for programmers, all in one place.

Who we are

Stocks Developer, the product, has been serving traders for over 8 years, and it is shaped by their day-to-day feedback. We support 40+ Indian brokers, plus any broker on the Symphony XTS API, and we work across the Indian stock exchanges in the cash, F&O and commodity segments.

Our users are people who run more than one account: active multi-account traders, sub-brokers and dealers, and portfolio managers who handle money for others.

The experience behind the product

Stocks Developer is built by a team led by an engineer and active algorithmic trader with over 19 years of experience in the banking and investment industry.

  • About 11 years inside financial institutions. Building proprietary trading systems and portfolio and risk management platforms at some of the world’s largest firms, among them Morgan Stanley, HSBC, SunGard (now part of FIS) and Citi. The work at Morgan Stanley covered a risk and margin platform used by hedge funds and the bank’s own risk teams.
  • Over 8 years building Stocks Developer. Bringing that same experience into a custom trading system made for the general public.

How we work

  • Tools only. We give software, not advice. No tips, no recommendations, no trading strategies, and no trading decisions made for you. All trading decisions are yours.
  • You stay in control. Your credentials are encrypted and our staff cannot trade your account. You set up and control every activity, and you can stop it at any time.
  • We move fast. When users ask for a new feature or a change, we aim to build and ship it quickly, subject to approval.
