What this error means
Every order moves through several stages inside the broker’s OMS (order management system). Some stages, like validation, do not allow the order to be modified. If you try to modify the order while it is in one of these stages, you see this error.
How to fix it
Wait for a short time so the broker’s OMS can finish processing the order. Then send the modification request again.
