Do static IP charges count towards my discount?

In short
  • No — only account recharges count towards your lifetime bill and your discount.
  • Static IP charges are not counted. A static IP is a separate add-on, not part of your software licence.
  • Nothing is lost. Your rate only ever goes down, so an IP charge never pushes your price up.
  • The Billing tab already follows this rule, so the lifetime billing figure you see is the one your price is based on.
  • The thresholds are unchanged — ₹25,000, ₹50,000, ₹2,00,000 and ₹5,00,000 of account recharges.

The short answer

No. Static IP charges do not count towards your lifetime bill, so they do not move you to a bigger discount.

Only your account recharges count — the monthly licence fee you pay for each broker account.

What counts and what does not

ChargeCounts towards your discount?
Account recharge (the monthly licence for a broker account)Yes
Static IP charge (Premium IPv6, Premium IPv4, Standard IPv4)No
Your own IP (BYOIP)Not applicable — there is no charge

Why static IP charges are kept out

Your discount is a reward for what you spend on the software licence itself. A static IP is a separate add-on that you only take if your broker needs one, and you can also bring your own for free.

If IP charges counted, two customers who use the software exactly the same way would end up on different prices simply because one broker asked for a static IP and the other did not. Keeping IP charges out means your discount depends only on your use of the software.

Your price never goes up because of this

The price ladder only ever moves down. Once you reach a discount, you keep it.

So a static IP charge can never push your price up or take a discount away. It simply does not move the ladder in either direction.

Where to check your lifetime bill

Open the User menu in the top-right corner (click your name), click Account, and stay on the Billing tab. You will see:

  • Total Lifetime Billing — your account recharges so far. Static IP charges are not included in this figure.
  • Your current plan, its monthly price, and how much more billing is needed to reach the next discount.

The figure on screen and the price you are charged always follow the same rule, so what you see is what your price is based on.

An example

Say you have recharged accounts for ₹24,000 so far, and you have also paid ₹1,500 in static IP charges.

  • Your lifetime bill is ₹24,000, not ₹25,500.
  • You are still on ₹495 per account per month.
  • You reach the ₹445 price once your account recharges cross ₹25,000.

Your static IP charges are still real charges and you can see every one of them in your billing history — they just do not count towards the discount.
