This message means the app got an unexpected reply from the server for that action. The most common reason is that your login session ended (you were signed out in the background), or there was a brief internet or connection glitch. The fix is in the name: refresh the page using your browser's own Refresh button — not a button inside the app. If refreshing takes you to the login screen, just log in again and retry what you were doing. If it keeps happening on every action, check your internet connection, and if it still continues, contact support.
When this happens
- 1 Your login session ended in the background (for example the app was left open for a long time, or you were signed out), so the server sent a sign-in response the page did not expect.
- 2 A brief internet or connection glitch while the page was talking to the server.
What this message means
The page sent a request to the server and got back something it did not expect for that action. Most of the time this is not a real fault with your account or your data — it simply means the connection to the server was not in a normal state at that moment.
The two common reasons are:
- Your login session ended. If the app was left open for a long time, or you were signed out in the background, the server replies with a sign-in response instead of the data the page was waiting for.
- A brief connection glitch between your device and the server.
How to fix it
- Refresh the page using your browser’s Refresh button — not a button inside the app. This is the key step.
- On a computer: press F5, or Ctrl + R (Windows) / Cmd + R (Mac), or click the round reload arrow (↻) next to the address bar.
- On a phone or tablet: tap the reload icon in the browser, or pull the page down from the top to refresh.
- If you land on the login page, log in again. That means your session had ended — signing in starts a fresh one.
- Retry what you were doing.
If it keeps happening
- Check that your internet connection is stable.
- Log out fully and log back in to start a clean session.
- If the message still comes back on every action, contact support with a screenshot of the error, what you were trying to do, and the steps to reproduce it, so the team can investigate.
