Fyers: Failed to receive auth code
This error means Fyers did not return the auth code needed to connect your account. It is almost always a temporary problem on Fyers' side, not a problem with your account. Connect the account again. If it keeps happening, wait a few minutes and try once more, and make sure your Fyers API app is active and your account details are correct.
When this happens
- 1 A temporary problem on Fyers' side during the connection — Fyers did not send back the auth code.
- 2 Your Fyers API app is not active, or the account details saved are wrong.
What this error means
To connect your Fyers account, Fyers must send back an auth code. This error means that code did not come back. Most of the time this is a short, temporary issue on Fyers’ side, and it clears on its own.
How to fix it
- Connect the account again from Accounts → Trading Accounts.
- If it still fails, wait a few minutes and try once more. These Fyers-side issues usually come and go.
- Check that your Fyers API app is active and your account details in our system are correct, then click Validate & Save.
If the error continues for a long time even though your details are correct, it is a Fyers-side problem. Please contact us and we will check it for you.
