Static IP missing after you deleted and added the account back
When you delete a trading account and add it back with the same broker and login ID, the static IP you already paid for is meant to come back on its own. If the account now shows no static IP, the paid IP has not been lost — the time you paid for is still yours. Open Accounts → Trading Accounts, click the pencil (edit) icon on the account and check the Static IP button; if it still shows no IP, message us on WhatsApp with your broker and login ID and we will link it back for you. Do not buy a second static IP for the same account — that would give you a new address, and you would have to whitelist it with your broker all over again. If you already bought one, tell us and we will check the charge.
When this happens
- 1 The account was deleted and added back again a short while later, and the paid IP did not re-link to the new account.
- 2 The account was added back with a different login ID than the one that had the IP — even a small typing difference counts as a different account.
What you are seeing
You had a static IP on a trading account. You deleted that account and added it back, and now the account shows no static IP — even though you paid for one and its time has not run out.
Your paid IP is not lost
Deleting a trading account does not end the static IP you paid for. The paid time stays with you.
When you add the account back with the same broker and the same login ID, the same address is meant to return on its own, so there is nothing to whitelist with your broker again. If it did not come back, it only needs to be linked again — the money is not gone.
What to do
- Go to Accounts → Trading Accounts and click the pencil (edit) icon next to the account.
- Click the Static IP button and see whether your address is shown.
- If it still shows no IP, message us on WhatsApp with your broker name and login ID. We will link your paid IP back to the account.
Once it is linked, check that the address in your broker’s dashboard is the same one. If it is, there is nothing more to do.
Please do not buy a second IP for the same account
If you take a new static IP for that account, you get a different address. That means a fresh charge, and you would have to remove the old address at your broker and whitelist the new one.
Ask us to link the one you already paid for instead. If you have already bought a second IP for the same account, tell us when you message and we will check the charge for you.
Check the login ID you typed
The IP comes back only when the account is added with the same login ID. Login IDs from some brokers mix letters and numbers, so a single wrong or missing character creates a different account — and a different account does not get the earlier account’s IP.
If you think this is what happened, send us both login IDs and we will sort it out.
