Unsupported trading platform setup

In short

This error means the setup of your trading account is outdated. Brokers sometimes upgrade their systems, which breaks the older integration. To fix it, log in to AutoTrader Web, open Accounts -> Trading Accounts, edit your account, and set it up again using your broker's latest process.

Why this happens

Brokers upgrade their systems from time to time. When they do, the older integration method can stop working. In such cases, our team builds a new integration method and posts a notice on our alerts WhatsApp and Telegram groups. You can join those groups from the contact page.

Solution

Update your trading account in AutoTrader Web so it uses the latest setup process for your broker.

  1. Login to AutoTrader Web.
  2. Go to the menu (Accounts -> Trading Accounts).
  3. Click the small EDIT icon next to your trading account’s client id or login id.
  4. Set up your account using the latest process. You can find the latest process on your broker’s setup page.
