Account not live.

Account not live
"Account not live." means the account is switched off (marked NON-LIVE) inside AutoTrader Web. It is not about your account at the broker — nothing is inactive, suspended or wrong at the broker's end, and your API credentials are fine. Validate All checks only the accounts marked LIVE, so an account that is not live is skipped and its row shows this message instead of a result. The fix takes a few seconds: go to Accounts -> Trading Accounts, select the account, click the Live button, then click Validate All again.
When this happens
- 1 The account is marked NON-LIVE in AutoTrader Web, so validation skipped it.
What this message means
You see Account not live. in the Message column of the Accounts -> Trading Accounts screen after you click Validate All.
Every trading account in AutoTrader Web has a LIVE / NON-LIVE switch. LIVE means the account is switched on and available to be used. NON-LIVE means it is switched off, and the system skips it.
Validation only checks accounts that are marked LIVE. An account that is not live is never contacted at all, so instead of a validation result its row shows Account not live.
This message is about the account’s status inside AutoTrader Web only:
- It does not mean your account at the broker is inactive, suspended or blocked.
- It is not an API credentials problem. Your API key, secret and TOTP key were never even checked, because nothing was sent to the broker.
- There is nothing to fix on the broker’s side.
How to fix it
- Go to the menu Accounts -> Trading Accounts.
- Select the account’s row.
- Click Live. A confirmation like
[your nickname] is marked LIVE.appears. - Click Validate All again. The account is now checked, and the Message column shows the real validation result.
See Trading Accounts for everything else you can do on this screen.
