Can I use my static IP on another account?
No. A static IP from us belongs to one trading account. You cannot share it with a second account, move it to a new account, or split its primary and backup addresses across two accounts. It comes back only when you add the same account back, with the same broker and login ID. Your own proxy can also be attached to only one account in our system. So each account needs its own static IP.
Can two of my accounts share one static IP from you?
No. A static IP from us belongs to one trading account, and it is billed with that account. This is our rule, and it is the same whether the two accounts are at the same broker or at different brokers.
If you have, for example, one account at AliceBlue and one at Dhan, each one needs its own static IP. Take it from the Static IP button on each account (Accounts → Trading Accounts, then the pencil icon).
Can I move my IP to a new account after I delete the old one?
No. If you delete an account and later add a different account — a new login ID, or an account at another broker — the old IP does not move to it. The new account needs its own static IP.
The IP comes back only when you add the same account back, with the same broker and the same login ID, while its paid time is still running. See Static IP missing after you deleted and added the account back.
If an account is only for a short time, you can still take a static IP for it. It is charged only up to that account’s expiry date, and it stops renewing when the account is not recharged.
I got two addresses. Can I use them on two accounts?
No. A Premium static IPv6 comes as two addresses, a primary and a backup, for one price of ₹100 per month. Together they are one static IP for one account. Register both addresses with your broker for that account, in the same edit. The backup is there so the account keeps working if the primary has a problem.
The IPv4 options from us give one address.
Can I use my own proxy on more than one account?
In our system, your own proxy (bring your own IP) can be attached to one trading account. If you want your own IP on two accounts, buy two proxies and attach one to each account.
You can still use the same proxy outside our system, for example in another broker’s own app. We never charge for an IP you bring.
What each account needs
| Your broker | Cheapest option |
|---|---|
| Supports IPv6 (for example Zerodha, Dhan, AliceBlue, Fyers, Upstox) | Premium static IPv6 from us, ₹100 per month, or your own proxy for free |
| IPv4 only | See the options and prices in Static IP Setup, or your own proxy for free |
All prices include tax. For the full list of options, see Static IP for broker API trading: options and pricing.
