Most common causes for this error are:
- Insufficient funds in your account
- Your existing positions & orders took up considerable margin
- Brokers increasing margin requirements when market is expected to be highly volatile
Solution
- Add more funds
- Cancel unnecessary open orders (if any)
- Pledge shares to get collateral margin
