Max free trial limit reached
- The free trial is limited to 3 accounts at a time.
- Accounts with a static IP from us do not use a trial slot, so they are not counted here.
- You see this because 3 of your accounts without a static IP from us are already on trial, so a new one cannot be added until a slot is free.
- Recharge one of them, or take a static IP from us for one. Either frees up a trial slot. There is no separate paid plan to switch to.
- An IP you bring yourself does not free up a slot, because we never charge for it.
- There is no limit on how many accounts you run in total, only on how many can be on free trial at the same time.
When this happens
- 1 You already have 3 trading accounts on free trial without a static IP from us. The free trial is capped at 3 such accounts at a time, so a new account cannot be added until one of those trial slots is free.
What this message means
The free trial is limited to 3 accounts at a time. This message means you already have 3 accounts on free trial, so the system will not let you add a new account until one of those trial slots is free.
Accounts that have a static IP from us do not use a trial slot, so they are not part of this count. Only your free-trial accounts without one are counted. An IP you bring yourself is free, so it does not free up a slot.
This is only a limit on how many accounts can be on free trial together. There is no limit on the total number of accounts you can run.
How to add more accounts
There are two ways to free up a trial slot. Either one works, so pick whichever suits you.
Option 1: recharge an account
- Go to the menu Accounts -> Trading Accounts.
- Select the free-trial account you want to keep and click Recharge. (Add money to your wallet first if needed. See pricing and how to recharge.)
- Once the account is recharged, it becomes a paid account and one trial slot opens up.
- Now add your next account. On a supported broker it starts on a fresh free trial using the slot you just freed.
Option 2: take a static IP from us for an account
- Go to the menu Accounts -> Trading Accounts.
- Select the free-trial account you want and buy a static IP from us for it. See static IP pricing and how to set one up.
- That account no longer uses a trial slot, so one slot opens up.
- Now add your next account.
This works only for a static IP you take from us. An IP you bring yourself (BYOIP) is free of charge, so it does not free up a trial slot.
Repeat either option whenever you need to add more accounts, so you can grow to as many accounts as you want.
There is no separate “paid plan”
You do not switch to a paid plan to remove this limit. Our pricing is per account — you recharge each account you want to keep, one month at a time. Recharging an account is what turns it from a free trial into a paid account. See pricing for the full details.
Good to know
- The free trial starts the moment you add an account, and it is given per account, only once. If you add an account whose trial was already used before, it will not get a new trial — see No free trial after adding an account.
- If a recharge fails because of low balance, see Could not recharge account.
