No free trial after adding an account

In short

Every new account gets the free one-month trial, on every broker. The trial is given per account and only once. So if you got no trial, the usual reason is that the account was added in the system before and its trial was already used up — re-adding it (by you or any user) does not give a new trial. Also remember the trial starts the moment you add the account, so the days count even if you do not use it. To keep using the account, recharge it. Note: the trial covers the account licence; if the account uses a static IP from us, the IP charges apply separately, and there are no IP charges if you bring your own IP.

When this happens

  1. 1 The account was added in the system before and its free trial was already used up. Re-adding it (by you or any user) does not give a new trial.
  2. 2 The trial starts the day you add the account, so the days keep counting even if you do not use the account or the system during the trial.

Why this happens

Every new account gets the free one-month trial, on every broker. But the trial is given per account, only once. So if this account was added in the system before and its trial was already used up, adding it again does not start a fresh trial. This is true even if a different user re-adds the same account.

One more thing to know: the trial covers the account licence. If the account uses a static IP from us, the IP charges apply separately (see pricing); if you bring your own IP, there are no IP charges.

What to do

To use the account, recharge it. Once you recharge, the account is active again.

Good to know: the trial starts when you add the account

The free trial starts the moment you add the account. The system counts the trial days from that day.

  • The days keep counting even if you do not use the account or the system during the trial.
  • Deleting the account does not stop this or delete the licence. If you add the account back later, it returns with the same expiry date, and the days kept running while it was deleted. So if you delete an account with trial days left and add it back only after that date, the remaining days are wasted. See Does deleting an account delete its licence or free trial days?.
  • Once the trial is used up, we do not give another free trial for that account.

Tip: If an account still has trial days left and you recharge it, you do not lose those days — one month is added on top of the days you already have.
