Does deleting an account delete its licence or free trial days?
No. Deleting a trading account does not delete its licence. The licence and any free trial days stay attached to that broker account. If you add the same account again later — by you or anyone — it comes back with the same expiry date; deleting and adding it again does not reset the free trial or give new days. But the expiry date does not pause while the account is deleted. Normal time keeps passing, so the days left keep going down. So if you added an account today and deleted it with almost a month of trial left, those days are only useful if you add the account back and use it before the same expiry date. If you leave it deleted past that date, the remaining days are wasted. To keep an account beyond its expiry, recharge it.
Does deleting an account delete its licence?
No. Deleting a broker account does not delete its licence. The licence, and any free trial days, stay attached to that broker account. So deleting is not a way to remove or reset the licence.
If I add the account again, do I get a fresh free trial?
No. If you add the same account again later — by you or by anyone else — it comes back with the same expiry date it had before. Deleting and adding it again does not reset the free trial and does not add new days. The account simply keeps whatever licence time it already had. See No free trial after adding an account.
Do the remaining days keep running while the account is deleted?
Yes — and this is the important part. The expiry date is set when you first add the account. Deleting the account does not pause or extend that date. Normal time keeps passing, so the days left keep going down, even while the account is deleted.
So if you added an account today and deleted it with almost a month of free trial left, those days are only useful if you add the account back and start using it before the same expiry date. If you leave it deleted and that date passes, the remaining trial days are wasted.
What should I do?
- You want to use this account: add it back and use it before its expiry date, so you do not waste the remaining days.
- You want to keep it past expiry: recharge the account. If it still has days left, one month is added on top of the days you already have — you do not lose them.
- You do not want this account at all: you can leave it deleted. Just know the remaining trial days will lapse on the original expiry date; they cannot be moved to a different account or saved for later.
Can I move the leftover days to a different account?
Usually no. Licence days belong to the broker account they were given for, so you cannot shift leftover days to a separate account on request. Moving the whole account to another user does keep its days — that is different. See Can I transfer my recharge or licence days to another account? and Move broker accounts between users.
