Now, let’s take a look at how to add AliceBlue account in Stocks Developer.

Steps
- TOTP Key
- Install Google Authenticator app on your phone
- We need the secret totp key that is provided by Aliceblue when you enable the TOTP
- If you have already enabled TOTP, then you should have this key. Most likely you would have entered in TOTP based apps like Google Authenticator. In case you do not have the key, then you can disable TOTP and re-enable it.
- TOTP setup option is available on login screen (after you enter your password)
- You will be shown a QR code
- Scan it in Google Authenticator app on your phone (this will show you TOTP which you will need for login)
- Click Can’t scan? Copy the key link
- Although you wont see any popup, the key will be copied to clipboard
- Just open notepad & paste it (we will need this key later)
- Now, enter TOTP shown on authenticator app & activate the TOTP on aliceblue website
- Note: Only once you have enabled TOTP, then proceed with next steps.
- App Key & App Secret Key
- Register as a Individual trader, Please visit [https://a3.aliceblueonline.com/]
- Click the Create App button
- App Name: My trading app
- Description: My trading app
- Redirect URL: https://webx.stocksdeveloper.in/auth/aliceblue
- Business Type: Trading
- Contact Name: <Your name>
- Contact Email: <Your email>
- Mobile Number: <Your phone number>
- Once the App is created, you will see “App Key” & “App Secret Key”.
- Now go back to Create account page on AutoTrader Web
- Select broker as Aliceblue
- Select platform as ALICE_API_V2_IPV6
- Enter Aliceblue login id
- Enter Aliceblue password
- Enter Totp key
- Enter App Key
- Enter App Secret Key
- Click Validate button
- On successful validation, click save to the account
- That’s it, you have successfully added your Aliceblue account. Do not forget to read these known limitations.

Static IP Setup
This is a 2 step process:
1. Before Account Creation
- During creation of your API on the broker’s website, create API with a dummy IP address
- IP Type: IPv4
- Primary Static IP: Just google “what is my ip” & enter your IP (we will update this later, see below section “Static IP Setup”)
- Algo Registration Type: Non-Registered
- Now add your account in our system (as explained above) & then come back to Step 2 given below.
2. After Account Creation
Once your account is added in our system, then do the following:
- Get Static IP
- In our system, go to menu (Settings -> Trading Account)
- Click the “Pencil icon” next to your account to EDIT it
- Click “Get Static IP” button
- You will get static IPs unique to your account
- Assign Static IP in our newly created API on broker’s API screen
- IP Type: IPv6
- Primary Static IP: (You will be shown in the EDIT screen)
- Secondary Static IP: (You will be shown in the EDIT screen)
- Algo Registration Type: Non-Registered (less than 10 orders / second)
