To add a SAS Online account in AutoTrader Web, first get your TOTP Key from SAS Online. Then go to Accounts -> Trading Accounts, click Create, select broker SAS and platform SAS_STOCKO_API, enter your login id, password and TOTP Key, then Validate and Save. Read the known limitations before you trade.

This page shows how to add a SAS Online account in AutoTrader Web. It has two steps: get your TOTP key, then add the trading account.

Step 1: Obtain TOTP Key

When you set up TOTP, SAS Online gives you a Key. If you already have this Key, skip to Step 2.

If you do not have the TOTP key, do the following:

  1. Go to the SAS Trading Website.
  2. Login with your password.
  3. The next page asks you for TOTP.
  4. Click the Forget TOTP / Mobile Lost? link.
  5. Enter your PAN number.
  6. Enter the OTP received on your mobile.
  7. When you login again, you will see a “TOTP setup” screen:
    1. Install Google Authenticator on your phone.
    2. Scan the QR code shown by SAS Online in Google Authenticator. This shows a TOTP that you can use to log in to the SAS Online website.
    3. Important: Click the “Can’t Scan, Copy the key” link on the SAS Online website (just below the QR code).
    4. Copy the shown Key and save it in Notepad for the next step.

Step 2: Add Trading Account

  1. Go to the AutoTrader Web menu (Accounts -> Trading Accounts).
  2. Click the Create button.
  3. Select Broker as SAS.
  4. Select SAS_STOCKO_API as the platform.
  5. Enter your SAS login id.
  6. Enter your SAS password.
  7. Enter the TOTP Key obtained in the previous step. (See screenshot below.)
  8. Click Validate and Save.

That’s it. You have added your SAS Online account. Do not forget to read these known limitations.
