In short

To add a Tradejini account to AutoTrader Web, use the Kambala API, not Tradejini's default API. First get three things from the Tradejini portal: your TOTP key, your APP Key, and your Vendor Code. Then add a trading account with platform KAMBALA_TRADEJINI and enter those details. After saving, read the known limitations.

Which API to use

Tradejini has two APIs:

  1. Tradejini’s own API (this is what they give by default)
  2. Kambala API (this is what we use)

You must use the Kambala API. The steps below show how to get its details.

Step 1: Get your Kambala API details

  1. Login to https://cube.tradejini.com/
  2. Once logged in, click on your profile link (login id) on the top right side.

TOTP Key

  • Click Security
  • Click TOTP
  • Enable it (if needed)
  • Copy and save the TOTP key in a notepad (see screenshot 1 below)

APP Key and Vendor Code

  • Click the API Key button on the top right.
  • If the system asks you to set an expiry date, select the maximum value so that your API key does not expire soon.
  • Once the API is generated, you will see the APP Key and Vendor Code (see screenshot 2 below).

Step 2: Add the account in AutoTrader Web

  1. Go to the AutoTrader Web menu (Accounts -> Trading Accounts)
  2. Click the Create button
  3. Select Broker as Tradejini
  4. Select KAMBALA_TRADEJINI as the platform
  5. Enter your Profitmart login id
  6. Enter your Profitmart password
  7. Enter TOTP Key
  8. Add APP Key
  9. Add Vendor Code
  10. Click Validate and Save

That’s it. You have successfully added your Tradejini account. Do not forget to read these known limitations.

Bracket and cover orders on Tradejini

Whether Tradejini offers a bracket or a cover order of its own — and in which segments — is set by the broker, and it can change. Many Indian brokers withdrew bracket orders in 2020 and never brought them back.

You can place one anyway. An AutoTrader bracket order (AT_BO) attaches a target and a stop-loss to your Tradejini order, with an optional trailing stop that follows the price in your favour and never moves back. An AutoTrader cover order (AT_CO) is the same thing with a stop-loss only. Your entry reaches Tradejini as an ordinary intraday order — the one thing every broker accepts — and AutoTrader Web watches the price and sends the closing order when your level is reached.

Place one from the order window, from your own code, or from a chart alert. It is intraday only, it does not give you the extra intraday margin some brokers give on their own bracket orders, and the position is squared off automatically a short while before the market closes.

Read the risk before you use it. A stop-loss decides when we try to exit — it does not decide the price you get. A sudden move can take the price straight past your level, so your loss can be larger than the stop-loss you set. The full explanation, and the one-time terms you agree to before your first one, are on Bracket & Cover Orders.

Frequently asked questions

Does AutoTrader Web support Tradejini?

Yes. Tradejini is fully supported. You can connect one or many Tradejini accounts and monitor live P&L, holdings and positions, place and manage orders, and copy trade across all of them from one screen, on web or mobile.

Can I copy trade with Tradejini?

Yes. You can copy trade with Tradejini in two ways — PMS copy from our terminal and master-child copy in the background — across accounts and brokers, with per-account sizing. You set up and control everything.

Can I manage multiple Tradejini accounts together?

Yes. Add as many Tradejini accounts as you like and see consolidated P&L, holdings and positions live, and trade across all of them at once.

How much does it cost to use Tradejini with AutoTrader Web?

AutoTrader Web is ₹295 to ₹495 per account per month, with all taxes included, and a free 1-month trial. Your account also needs a static IP — this is required for every broker, not optional. You can buy a Premium static IP we set up for you (₹299 per month, faster and more reliable), take a Standard static IP from our pool (₹200 per month), or bring your own IP for free — all prices include tax. If Tradejini charges separately for API access, that fee is set by the broker.

Can I place a bracket order on Tradejini?

Yes. You can place an AutoTrader bracket order (AT_BO) or cover order (AT_CO) on your Tradejini account, whether or not Tradejini offers one of its own. It attaches a target, a stop-loss and an optional trailing stop, and it works because your entry goes to Tradejini as an ordinary intraday order while AutoTrader Web watches your levels. It is intraday only and gives no extra margin, and a sudden price move can still take your exit past the level you set.
