Now, let’s take a look at how to add Kotak account in Stocks Developer.

Let’s understand how to add a Kotak Neo account in AutoTrader Web.

AutoTrader Web uses Kotak NEO trading APIs.

Step 1: Register & create Kotak APIs

Please watch the demo video to better understand the steps.

Login to Kotak Neo.

1. MPIN
   • If you already have MPIN (skip this step)
   • MPIN can be obtained by following steps:
   • Click on your profile icon (top right)
   • Click on “Account Details”
   • Scroll to the bottom to find “Change MPIN” option (use it to set new MPIN)
2. TOTP Key
   • If you already have TOTP Key (skip this step)
   • Click “More” on the top toolbar
   • Click “Trade API”
   • Click Menu inside the “Neo Trade API” panel
   • Click “TOTP Registration” (watch above video for clarity)
   • Note: TOTP Key is a 20-25 random characters key. It is not 6-digit totp. Also, do not forget to enable the TOTP.
3. API Consumer Key
   • Click “More” on the top toolbar
   • Click “Trade API”
   • Click on your “Default Application”
   • You will find the “Consumer Key”

Step 2: Add Trading Account

1. Go to AutoTrader Web menu (Settings -> Trading Accounts)
2. Click Create button
3. Select Broker as Kotak
4. Select Trading Platform as KOTAK_NEO_IPV6
5. Enter following details:
   • Login id (UCC – 5 characters code)
   • MPIN
   • TOTP Key
   • Phone number (10 – digits)
   • Consumer key
   • Easy-to-remember name for your account (nickname)
6. Static IP
   • Click “Auto-Assign IP” button & system will give you 2 ipv6 static IPs
   • Register these both in Kotak Neo (as shown in the video)
7. Click Validate & Save
8. That’s it, you have successfully added your Kotak Securities account.
