Now, let’s take a look at how to add Symphony Brokers account in Stocks Developer.

Symphony XTS is an independent API offered by many stock brokers in India. If your stock broker supports XTS, you can use your broker’s trading account with our system.

As of now, we only support XTS RETAIL API. The PRO/DEALER API of XTS is NOT supported.

Symphony XTS – Setup

Step 1 – Obtain API details

You need to obtain XTS API details from your stock broker. In case you already have API details, jump to the next section.

Talk to your broker getting API details. We need 2 things (App Key & App Secret)
In some cases, the broker will directly give you these details or they will provide you access to their Symphony API dashboard.
If you were given App Key & Secret, jump to next section.
If you were given dashboard access, then do the following
1. You may have a default application created (see screenshot 1 below). In that case move to next section
2. If you do not have a default app, go to menu (My app -> Create New Application)
3. See (see screenshot 2 below)
4. App Information
  - App Name – Stocks Developer
  - App Description – Stocks Developer
  - API Package – Select Interactive
5. Basic Information
  - Company Name – Stocks Developer
  - Redirect URL – https://apix.stocksdeveloper.in/oauth/xts
6. Once your app is created, you will get App Key & App Secret

Note: If you are using multiple vendors with your XTS account, then you must create separate apps for them.

Step 2 – Add your account in our system

Go to AutoTrader Web menu (Settings -> Trading Accounts)
Click Create button
Select your Broker
- Note: If your broker supports XTS & you do not see their name, please contact support. They will help you.
Select appropriate XTS trading platform
Enter Interactive App Key
Enter Interactive App Secret
Give a Nickname to your account
Click Validate & Save
