AutoTrader uses a concept know as Broker Independent Instruments. You can use this screen to search for various trading instruments available for trading.
AutoTrader creates broker independent symbols. It identifies an instrument uniquely by Exchange & Symbol.
- Select “Exchange”
- Select “Segment”
- Select “Instrument”
- Enter “Option type & Strike price” (if applicable)
- Enter “Symbol” to search
- Once you get the results, you can click on the “Symbol” to look at broker specific instrument details.
