Let’s understand how to add a Dhan account in AutoTrader Web.

AutoTrader Web uses Dhan trading APIs which are complete FREE.

Steps 1 – Generate API Key

1. Login to Dhan trading website
2. Open menu on top right by clicking your profile picture
3. Click Dhan HQ Trading APIs
4. Under Trading APIs tab, click New Token button
   • Application Name: Stocks Developer
   • Token Validity: Select maximum (at the time writing max allowed is 30 days)
     • Note: Do not forget to re-generate the token before it expires (after 30 days) & update new token in AutoTrader Web system
   • Postback Url: Keep it blank
   • Click Generate & you will see a new access token (See screenshot below)

Step 2 – Add your Dhan account

1. Go to AutoTrader Web menu (Settings -> Trading Accounts)
2. Click Create button
3. Select Broker as Dhan
4. Enter your API Key
5. Give a nickname
6. Click Validate & Save
7. That’s it, you have successfully added your Choice account. Do not forget to read these known limitations.
